Brussels Griffons, also known as Griffon Bruxellois or Brussels Griffon Dogs, are small toy dogs originating from Belgium. They were originally bred to catch vermin in stables.

They are known for their distinctive appearance, characterized by their expressive, almost human-like facial features. Their large, round eyes and flat faces give them a unique and somewhat comical expression.

Brussels Griffons come in two coat varieties: rough-coated (with a wiry and dense coat) and smooth-coated (shorter and sleeker). Both coat types require regular grooming.
